5 Finger Base Mounted Robotic Arm Exhibits!
Below are a few images of MRISAR's 5 Finger Robotic Arm exhibit kits. They are shown in their custom shipping crate as well as how customer encased our kit in their own case. MRISAR's 5 Finger Robotic Arm is an electromechanical robot arm that measure approximately 39” long from the tip of the fingers to the base of the shoulder pivot assembly. It has nine ranges of motion and independent movement in all 5 fingers. The arm is designed to be visually stunning, educational and usable by virtually any age of museum visitor. This arm is totally open framed for educational viewing which relates to STEM and based closely on the proportions of an actual human arm. The arm is protected by limit controls and spring loaded for shock. The limit controls use simple logic to avoid over travel, as opposed to expensive and hard to repair computer guided systems. The wrist, shoulder and elbow ranges of motion are operated by two joystick assemblies and the fingers by 5 push buttons. The arm is configured as a demonstration robotic arm to illustrate remote handling applications for robotics. Remote handling robots are used by industry, aerospace and commercial establishments to extend human capabilities in hazardous situations.
