Our Mission Statement
We strive to Inspire Others & Improve the Global Quality of Life!
MRISAR is a Family Owned and Operated Philanthropic Business that was created in 1993, to achieve humanitarian goals as the main priority. Our goals are to develop beneficial Humanitarian and Environmentally based technologies and programs. With a desire to fund our own philanthropic work and to extend our idealistic educational services on a global level we decided to incorporate some of our technologies into interactive exhibits. The result of this is that we have Designed, Fabricated and Marketed the Earth’s Largest Selection of "Internationally Renowned and Awarded" World-Class Interactive Robotics Exhibits and Devices; and “Hands On” Scientific, Technological and Interactive Art Exhibits.
We work to improve the global quality of life! We want to inspire (and help other centers to also inspire) the upcoming generation to create careers in responsible technologies that will improve the future quality of life! Our Philanthropic R&D has been Awarded by NASA/Emhart, Discover & Others for both its Technical Innovation & Idealistic Nature!
Our Humanitarian & Environmental Research & Development has been presented before and/or published and awarded by: the United Nations, NASA-Emhart, Stanford, Cambridge, ICORR, ROMAN, IEEE, Discover Awards, International Federation of Robotics (IFR), etc. Our 1990's circa, original innovative R & D in "Facial Feature Controlled Technology" and "Artificial Sense of Touch Technology" (Adaptive Technology prototypes for the disabled), has helped pioneer those fields! We were the only company in the world to be awarded an entire chapter regarding our work in the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) “World Robotics; Service Robotics, 2011”.
In 2010 we purchased a disused school on the plains of North Dakota and relocated our business there. Profit from our International Exhibit Sales helps fund our Humanitarian R&D. Our purpose is to invent and present responsible, low cost and easy to implement, beneficial humanitarian and environmental based technologies and methods that assist with social, ecological, sustainable and economic solutions. The Innovativeness & Quality of Our Exhibits!
Our exhibits have a long service life expectancy, with many units still functioning smoothly since we began selling them to others. They are so easy to maintain and repair, that it usually takes regular museum staff only 15 to 20 minutes. No other company in this line of work can claim this as a standard. We specialize in Cybernetics, Bionics, Mechatronics, Autonomics, Animatronics & Teleoperated devices. Our Graphic Arts Division provides services for educational, professional, marketing & entertainment.
Our customers include World-Class Science Centers, Museums, Universities, NASA, Royalty, Foreign & Domestic Governments and Film Industries. We also design, fabricate and sell Robotic Exhibit Component Kits! Our Robotic Kits have been purchased by NASA, World-class museums like Carnegie Science Center's Roboworld, foreign and domestic governments, etc and for use in many traveling exhibitions like "Popnology", "Robots; the Interactive Exhibition" and "Alien Worlds and Androids"! Our kits are just as durable and easy to maintain as our complete exhibits. They are designed and built for outstanding durability to be able to hold up to both public use and the riggers of road travel. Copyright & Patents: All Exhibit designs and engineering used in MRISAR exhibits are designed, invented and developed by John, Victoria, Autumn & Aurora Siegel, who are also MRISAR's Founders and R&D Team. All exhibit designs, engineering, graphics, written and visual elements that are presented to perspective clients remain the property of the Founders (Siegel family) of MRISAR Institute of Science, Art & Robotics LLC. All exhibit sales and rentals help fund our philanthropic projects and research & development! A Nonprofit Organization was founded and incorporated in 1997 by MRISAR's owners John Adrian Siegel and Victoria Lee Croasdell-Siegel in order to perpetuate philanthropic projects and programs. When they wrote the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws they stated that no board member could receive payment, salary or compensation for board duties. This allows all donations to be applied directly to philanthropic projects and programs. It is located in North Dakota. Together with their daughters Autumn and Aurora Siegel; aspects of their work have helped to educate and inspire millions of people world-wide.
